In Asylum for: The murder of Emily Kostich and her unborn child. Truthfully? Brendan knows exactly who did it but Emily's parents, super Christian, decided they didn't like the idea of Em being in a relationship with him. Framed him for the murder of her and two other guys. Tricked the jury into thinking he was insane. Refuses to take the medication, trades it off to other people.

Role in Asylum: Brendan knows everything about everyone. Staff, students, he's got a penchant for knowing what's what. Probably because he's constantly sober. Friends with Santana, they're kind of there to balance each other out. A little overprotective of the ones in 'special treatment' because he doesn't trust anyone.

Deterrent: Staff knows he's smarter than he seems. Invisibility doesn't work. Beaten pretty regularly, blocks everything out. Focuses on attention to detail to escape constant pain. No rape, yet, maybe if someone's working on that/it doesn't trigger then we can work it out. Not-so-openly bi. Has a thing for blondes. If he doesn't like you or doesn't know you it's like talking to a brick wall, though.

Future:: Brendan cracking would be good. Want to pair him up badly with someone, unsure who. Has a lot of emotional issues he's got to work out that will probably wind up with him purposely looking for fights and purposely getting his ass kicked.
